Brass Band

Brass Band was the introduction of Oblik Atelier's big, bold sculptural jewelry pieces. Idea launched in 2012 with the intent to create timeless, classic designs that would hold these attributes as time passes. All of these jewelry pieces are still some of our collectors favorites.

Each piece of jewelry is hand formed and fabricated so forms can be big and voluminous without compromising the wearability. Jewelry is light and forms against the body.

We recently introduced some cuffs and rings in sterling silver.

Connected Story

Connected Story

Chain is a symbol of connection. I started this story with the Connected chain, added the You and U-cute earrings and slowly this body of work is growing. It's all about hand fabricated links that create the perfect weight. If you are into chains and love the look and feel of hand made chain, look no further. Connected Story is for you!

Drawing Series

The Drawing Series is about drawing with wire. My desire was to create interesting shapes via play of negative and positive space using only singular wires. Each piece is sculptural but incredibly light and easy to wear because of the hand fabrication process. No piece is the same as each is handmade and metal has a mind of its own.

This sculptural ring is formed and shaped by hand in 3mm sterling silver wire. I hammered the details on the top so the flared pieces nestle on the knuckles and hug the finger. Top area is about 1" x .5" wide approximately. Very comfortable ring to wear and one of the best sellers. Top has hammered details and the ring is finished in high polish. Handmade in Brooklyn, New York

Elemental

Word Elemental connotes primary, basic, of an element. These jewelry pieces were created out of the restraints imposed by me during the creative process. Precious metal, single wire manipulated to create a shape. Seth Goden wrote in The Practice: "Constraints create possibilities of art". It held true through this creative endeavor. All pieces are hand fabricated in sterling silver.

Let's Embrace

"Let's Embrace" is an idea born during the "stay at home" period in NYC. I created a pair of heart earrings inspired by @JGOLDCROWN graffiti I found in Dumbo, Brooklyn, on one of my walks. I sent friends and strangers"snail-mail" with this gift. My only ask in a letter sent along, was for them to engage in an conversation with me, a video call or an email exchange. I wanted to use this small project to amplify other people, their creativity, share insights and inspirations . My desire was to stay connected with my friends and to make new friends during this time that is testing our inherent human desire to connect and commune with others.
